Welcome to Freedom Smoke USA here is where we will provide you with the information that will be needed to start you on your journey to a healthier lifestyle. We only put four ingredients in our juices which include: nicotine, PG, VG, and flavor. We DO NOT put water, alcohol or any other kind of cut into our juices. Our juices are the World’s finest for the reason that we do not and will not compromise FLAVOR in our products for any reason whatsoever. Our nicotine is 99.998 percent pure and certified by U.S. labs. Our vegetable glycerin (VG) and propylene glycol (PG) ingredients are made in labs in the U.S. and our VG is certified Kosher. We know that you can find other juices out there but we invite you to place one of our juice bottles next to other juices and gaze at the difference, compare the aromas, and taste-test the two of them. You will then immediately understand that our juice is the finest in the world. We are Vapers just like you, and what we put in our own bodies is nothing short of the best there is. We are pleased and honored to share that with you.

This guide is to inform the first time user on hardware needed to start vaping e-juice.  We understand that the internet is flooded with information about the electronic cigarette and its use and combing through all the information can get overwhelming and confusing at times.  While we encourage you to conduct your own research we have included here a simple explanation that eliminates the confusion without having to spend hours on understanding the functionality of an electronic cigarette and the vaporizing of flavored e-juice.

What’s an e-Cig?

An e-cigarette is a device that produces vaporized nicotine that is inhaled. The device is battery-operated and heats a coil which turns the e-juice into vapor. Vapor creates a smoking sensation or ‘throat hit’ much like one you would receive from using a traditional tobacco cigarette. When you draw on the device (as you would a cigarette), a heating element vaporizes the nicotine or non-nicotine liquid, and converts it into vapor that is inhaled. The act of using an electronic cigarette is often referred to as ‘vaping’.

Electronic cigarettes come in different sizes, shapes, and colors. Depending on what type of electronic cigarette you choose to use will depend on what parts compose your device. There are three key components which make up an e-cigarette; a battery, e-juice, and a heating element.

• Battery:

  The rechargeable battery uses lithium-ion (Li-ion) technology.  It includes embedded safety switches that protect the battery from short circuit conditions, over charge and over drain. The battery is activated by the user through a push button switch during the vaping process and is rechargeable through the use of a charger on any standard outlet.  The charger has indicator LED’s that will indicate when a battery is charged.
  

• Wick/Coil:

  The wick and coil are but a mere wire (coil) coiled around a piece of silicon rope (wick).  The coil and wick are housed in a device that connects to the battery.  The coil ends through the housing will connect to the positive and negative connections of the battery.  The housing is usually a tube like device known as an atomizer or it can also be a plastic or glass tank used to hold e-juice and keep the wick moist with the e-juice.  These housing devices connect to the battery by screwing. All of our products are designed using a 510 thread.  Through the use of resistance, the coil will heat up when a current is applied and vaporize the e-juice resting on the moist wick.
  

• E-juice:

  The e-juice is a mixture made up of four fundamental ingredients: Nicotine, PG, VG and flavoring.  The liquid nicotine content is controlled by the customer where he/she can have their juice blended anywhere from 0-36mg.  At FSUSA we offer some customizable e-juices where you can adjust your PG/VG level to suit your needs.  A regular tobacco cigarette pack will usually contain about 24mg of nicotine.  The PG and VG are FDA approved substances used in clinical vaporizers.  Their purpose on e-juice is to generate vapor clouds and simulate a throat hit.  The flavoring is custom made and custom mixed by blending experts and can come from various sources.  We at FSUSA get our flavoring exclusively from FlavourArt in Italy and custom blended it for different flavors in our own facilities.

  

To get started you will need the following:

• a battery and charger
• an atomizer, cartomizer or tank
• a drip tip (if using an atomizer or cartomizer)
• e-juice.

How to use the e-cig:

Connect your battery to the atomizer/cartomizer or tank.  If you are using an atomizer apply 2-3 drops of e-juice onto the wire mesh inside the atomizer. If using a cartomizer place approximately 50 drops of e-juice onto the poly-fill material.  If you have purchased a tank simply fill the tank with e-juice and replace the top or bottom (whichever you were required to remove to fill the tank with e-juice) and let it sit for a minute or two to insure that the wick will be moist.  Attach the atomizer/cartomizer or tank to the battery by screwing it on and making sure that it is snug not too much but just enough to keep it from becoming loose.  Apply the drip tip if applicable.

To operate your e-cigarette press the button five times fast to activate your battery. Press, and hold the button, and inhale. Remember that an e-cigarette does most of the work for you and it is not necessary to use a lot of lung pressure to get the vapor into your lungs.  Once you feel you have taken enough of a hit let go of the activation/power button. You will feel the throat hit and upon exhaling will see the vapor.  Practice trying different inhaling lengths and techniques to figure out what is the best hit for you. When your battery is not in use you can deactivate the battery by pressing the button five times fast.

• Electronic cigarette (e-Cig): Complete electronic device used to vaporize liquid nicotine and deliver the vapor to the user’s lungs via the mouth.
• Nicotine: Nicotine combined with other liquids to create a flavored vaporizable liquid used as a vapor transport to deliver nicotine to the lungs.
• Propylene Glycol (PG): Used predominantly for simulating throat hit.
• Vegetable Glycerin (VG): Used predominantly for vapor production.
• Draw (hit): Inhaling through the mouthpiece to pull vapor into your lungs.
• Ohm (Ω): Unit of electrical resistance, expressing the resistance in a circuit transmitting a current of one ampere when subjected to a potential difference of one volt.
• Battery mAh: Commonly used to describe the energy charge that a battery will hold and how long a device will run before the battery needs recharging.
• Drip tip: Mouth piece at the end of an e-cig that will rest on the user’s lips during inhalation of the vapor.
